The 212th Attack Battalion is a Rare appearance for the Galactic Republic's Assault, Heavy, Officer, and Specialist classes in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. This skin costs 20,000 Credits or 500 Crystals to unlock for each class individually. Alternatively, it can also be purchased in a bundle—simultaneously unlocking the appearance for the Assault, Heavy, Officer, and Specialist—for 60,000 Credits. It was released on November 28, 2018 alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi as part of the Battle of Geonosis Update.[1][2]
Overview[]
This skin is based on the appearance of the 212th Attack Battalion, a prominent Clone Trooper legion in the Grand Army of the Republic. The 212th was commanded by Jedi Master and General Obi-Wan Kenobi along with Clone Commander Cody. The battalion partook in various pivotal battles during the Clone Wars; most notably, they invaded the planet Utapau at the Battle of Utapau, where Obi-Wan Kenobi's hunt for General Grievous culminated. The 212th are depicted in the The Clone Wars TV series and Revenge of the Sith, where in the latter they are depicted in the Battle of Utapau and later try to execute Kenobi as part of Order 66.
