The AT-ST, or All Terrain Scout Transport, is seen mainly on the forest moon of Endor: Bunker. However, this vehicle was in widespread use across the Galactic Empire. The Rebels and their allies, the Ewoks, obliterated most of the walkers as they pressed on with their destructive attack. In order to win the battle Chewbacca and two Ewoks hijacked one of the walkers and thus, with the help of other Ewoks, lead to the victory of the Rebel Alliance on Endor. AT-STs are also seen on Hoth: Echo Base, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back during the attack on the rebel base at Hoth.

Trivia

• The AT-ST is nicknamed the Chicken Walker by the Rebel Alliance due to its two-leg articulation.
• Their pilots are some of the most skilled and balanced in the entire Imperial military as it is extremely hard to balance the AT-ST while moving at full speed and firing its weapons. Balance is a skill that must be learned at an early age.
• The AT-ST's weapons are strong enough to punch through a fortress in some cases.
• They can move up to 40 miles per hour.
• The AT-ST and the AT-AT are the only ground vehicles that play a unique death animation before exploding.
  • The AT-STs death animation is the following: the walker stumbles around, falls over, then explodes.
