Acklay are creatures from Vendaxa and are found on many planets including Felucia. They attacked Obi-Wan
Kenobi in Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones. In one of the Campaign's you must destroy six Acklay as a timed objective. The average height of an Acklay is 3.05 meters. An Acklay can kill you with only one or two stabs of its pincers, so once they knock you down, you're basically dead. Acklays appear in the campaign mode (Rise of the Empire) in Battlefront II.
Strategies in defeating an Acklay
- Acklay's can be defeated very easily as long as you keep your distance. Rockets and Mines are the most effective way of destroying an Acklay, however most weapons can defeat an Acklay.
- Rockets are very effective when killing Acklay, as only one to three rockets are needed to take out an Acklay single-handedly.
Trivia
- In a mod on Star Wars Battlefront filefront, called +123, you can play as an Acklay.
- A discrepency is that an Acklay appears in a loading screen for the Felucia conquest. There are none in the conquest mode.
