The Aerial class is a Reinforcement class in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. The Aerial class consists of enhanced units with increased mobility. Like all other Reinforcement classes, the Aerial can only be played by earning a certain amount of Battle Points.
Overview[]
Each faction has its own Aerial class, meaning that each Aerial class for each faction has different weapons and types of jetpacks, though as one class, each faction's Aerial unit has the same Star Cards. All Aerial units except the First Order Jet Trooper possess the same three abilities: Jetpack Boost, which boosts the Aerial unit upwards; Rocket Launcher, a precise rocket launcher effective against infantry; and Jetpack Dash, which propels the Aerial unit forward.
Like all units, the Aerial's class level is determined by the experience earned and time played in game with the class. Star Cards for the Aerial class can be unlocked through Skill Point, one of which is earned each time the class is leveled up.
In The Rise of Skywalker Update, two of the Aerial classes's Star Cards were changed, likely due to their effects not being applicable to the abilities of the reworked First Order Jet Trooper. These two Star Cards, now deprecated, were Improved Rocket Launcher and Improved Jetpack.

Trivia[]
- The Aerial units of the Rebel Alliance and Resistance are equipped with Jump Packs. Even so, the jetpacks of most Aerial units are functionally the same as Jump Packs as opposed to the fully controllable jetpack used by Boba Fett.
- The exception to this is the First Order Jet Trooper, which was added in The Rise of Skywalker Update and replaced the First Order Rocket Trooper.
