The Assault class is one of the four trooper classes in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II.
Fast and extremely effective at short and medium range, this class can forcefully push themselves through enemy lines and clear a path for their allies.
The other three trooper classes are Heavy, Officer, and Specialist.
Like all units, the Assault's class level is determined by the amount (and level) of Star Cards that have been unlocked for that class. Players can either craft Star Cards using Crafting Parts or unlock them randomly via Loot Crates to increase the Assault's class level.

Weapons
These Assault weapons can be unlocked by completing weapon milestones.
Faction default
These weapons are the default weapons for each faction's Assault. All share the same stats.
- A280C (Rebel Soldier)
- DC-15A (Clone Trooper)
- E-5 (Battle Droid)
- E-11 (Stormtrooper)
- EL-16 (Resistance Soldier)
- F-11 (First Order Stormtrooper)
Default Abilities
The Assault has three default abilities:
- Thermal Detonator
- Vanguard
- Scan Dart
These abilities can be modified or changed depending on what Star Cards the player equips.
