The Assault class is one of the four trooper classes in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. The other three trooper classes are Heavy, Officer, and Specialist.
Overview
Fast and extremely effective at short and medium range with 150 health points, this class can forcefully push themselves through enemy lines and clear a path for their allies.
Like all units, the Assault's class level is determined by the experience earned and time played in game with the class. Star Cards for the Assault class can be unlocked through Skill Points, one of which is earned each time the class is leveled up. Their unique Ability Card is Assault Training, which gives health for each defeated enemy. The Assault class uses blaster rifles that are unlocked by completing their respective milestones.
Weapons
These Assault weapons can be unlocked by completing weapon milestones.
Faction default
These weapons are the default weapons for each faction's Assault. All share the same stats.

- A280C (Rebel Soldier)
- E-11 (Stormtrooper)
- EL-16 (Resistance Soldier)
- F-11D (First Order Stormtrooper)
Abilities
The Assault class has three default abilities, which can be modified by Boost Cards or replaced completely by Ability Cards.
The default thermal detonator is a throwable grenade packing a deadly punch.
Lead the charge and equip a powerful short-range weapon that builds no heat for a limited time.
This default launcher fires a scan dart which is useful for quickly locating enemies.
