The Assault Droid is the CIS unit built to inflict heavy damage towards tanks, turrets, and other objects/vehicles with large amounts of health. They don't require very good aim, which is good, considering the shots they use are not very precise and your target is almost always moving. They can also be used for disposing of nearby units in one shot (or a few, if they are heroes). It is smart to be careful with ammo, these guys don't carry that much ammunition. They can also destroy an AT-TE with their four Mines. Their Mines are highly explosive and are mostly effective towards vehicles. (Equivalent to- Shock Trooper, Rebel Vanguard, Heavy Trooper).

Trivia

• The Assault Droid is called the Droid Demolitions in the fist two clone wars campaign mission's SWBFI.
• This droid role is questionable. A better option would be a B2-HA Super Battle Droid due to it having a rocket launcher built-in.
