The Beam Turret is a turret that is a lot like the Laser Turret, but fires a straight, unbroken beam of laser, like the Spider Walker's secondary attack and the IFT-X's main gunner. It is quite powerful, better equipped to kill infantry but does reasonable damage to Vehicles. Beam cannon fire varies in different bright colors such as red, light blue, light green, etc. A few beam cannon turrets ranging from small to heavy turrets, are found on Capital ships such as the Imperial Star Destroyer, Trade Federation Cruiser, Vennetor cruisers, etc. as seen in space combat in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
