The Clone Trooper is the Assault unit for the Galactic Republic in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. Like all Assault units, the Clone Trooper's default abilities are Thermal Detonator, Vanguard, and Scan Dart. They wield the DC-15A blaster.

The Clone Trooper specializes in fast, close quarters combat.

In the alpha version of the game, they wore plain white phase II armor on Naboo. In the beta, their Appearance was updated to include maroon markings on Naboo and green markings on Kashyyyk. In The Chosen One Update, which overhauled Clone Appearances, their plain white armor was made default on all planets.

Clone Troopers have a wide selection of Appearances to choose from, all of which can be purchased with Credits.

On Naboo and Kashyyyk, Clone Troopers wear their default white Phase II armor as default for all game modes other than Capital Supremacy. On Kamino and Geonosis, they wear their Phase I armor as default but Phase II on Capital Supremacy.
