Changes: Confederacy of Independent Systems

The Confederacy of Independent Systems, or more commonly known as the CIS or just the Confederecy in-game, is one of the four playable factions in Star Wars: Battlefront, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Star Wars: Battlefront Renegade Squadron. They are a group of Star Systems who split away from the Galactic Republic under the leadership of Count Dooku. The CIS Army consists completely of droids in the games. The only exception are the CIS Heroes. Some players feel that the the CIS is overpowered compared to the Republic as the B2 super battle droid and the IG-100 MagnaGuard have a better reload time, and better armor strength than their Republic counterparts. Also the CIS have the Droideka, which is easily the most powerful ingame unit. Some remnants of the CIS later became part of the Rebel Alliance.
