The Dauntless is a standard Imperial Star Destroyer that serves as the flagship of Moff Raythe.
The Dauntless first appears in The Dauntless, where it is docked at a shipyard in orbit of Fondor. There, Inferno Squad assists Moff Raythe in procuring satellites in preparation for Operation: Cinder and defend the Star Destroyer when it comes under a surprise attack by Rebel forces. Reluctantly, Iden Versio follows Moff Raythe's orders to attack the Imperial station when his Star Destroyer is locked in by its clamps. The Dauntless fires on the Rebel cruiser with its turbolaser cannons once it is freed, destroying it.
The Dauntless is unexpectedly located in orbit of Vardos alongside the Eviscerator in The Storm, deploying the satellites Inferno assisted in procuring at Fondor.
Trivia
- The ultimate fate of the Dauntless and Moff Raythe are unknown; it is possible that it crashed at The Battle of Jakku.
