Star Wars Battlefront I
The Disruptor Rifle is a Power Up featured in Star Wars Battlefront.
It is one of the few weapons in the game that is only a power up. Like most of the other weapons, this rifle never appeared in the Original Trilogy.
To use the weapon, players must charge it up until the dashes showing the power form into a circle. Once the weapon's fire button is released, the rifle releases a condensed sphere of ion energy that kills enemy players on impact. It also destroys turrets and droids, as well as damaging Vehicles.
The Disruptor Rifle is one of the weapons that can pass through the Personal Shield and Squad Shield.
This weapon's accuracy is determined on whether or not the player is aiming down their sights. If fired from the hip, it will have a high chance of going past the target and instead hitting part of the map. If aimed down the sights however, the sphere will always go into the direction it's aimed at.
