The E-11s Sniper Rifle is used by the Galactic Empire Scout Troopers in the Star Wars Battlefront video game. This weapon is the successor of the acclaimed DC-15x Sniper Rifle used by the Clone Sharpshooters during the Clone Wars. It was acclaimed for having heavier rounds and better accuracy than the DC-15x. The E-11s is one of the best imperial sniper rifles. It actually has been proven better than the DLT-20a Sniper Rifle. However, it was plagued by only 36 rounds as opposed to the DLT-20a with 50 - 75 rounds. It is one of a few sniper rifles present in the original Battlefront games.
Trivia
- This weapon was originally made for the Star Wars: Battlefront Series. A slightly different version of the blaster, given the name E-11S long-range blaster, appears in the mobile games Star Wars: Galactic Defense and Star Wars Commander.
- The weapon appears to be based on a combination of the real-life MG 34 and MG 42 weapons, with the handle and buttstock of the MG 34 and the barrel of the MG 42, and bears a resemblance to the DLT-19 Heavy Blaster.
