Swamp Crash Site is a multiplayer map in Star Wars Battlefront. It is playable in Drop Zone, Droid Run, Blast, Hero Hunt, Heroes vs. Villains, and Skirmish. Some defining features include the fact that we've never before seen a swamp on Endor, and the crashed GR-75 Transport.
Blast[]
Blast on this map can be very hectic, but also quite calm at times. If one of your Star Card loadouts includes a Pulse Cannon, the trees here can be very good for sniping. Certain areas can be also be used to build a defense with turrets or droids, although the gap must be small for that to happen.
Heroes vs. Villains[]
Heroes vs. Villains can be quite chaotic, as both sides spawn on opposite ends of the ship across from the main underside pathway and will usually begin firing at each other as soon as the round begins. Nien Nunb and Bossk dominate this map due to their ability to control the walkways with traps and weapons designed to take out clusters of enemies. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader usually run around the swamp terrorizing each other's troops.
Hero Hunt[]
Hero Hunt on this map is nothing short of a horror game. The hero will usually use stealth to traverse the dimly lit swamp and ambush isolated enemies.
Trivia[]
- On a log on the side of the swampland, there's a patch of plants. If you step in it, a lizard-like creature will stick its neck and tongue out. This is a Temptor, a creature in unused concept art by Ralph McQuarrie during the creating of Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi.
- There are multiple ewok traps scattered around the crash site, but none of them are functional unlike the ones in Ewok Hunt in Battlefront 2. An R5-D4 Astromech droid can be seen inside one of the traps.
