Ion Neutralizer

The Ion Neutralizer is a Star Card featured in Star Wars Battlefront, it is classified as an Asset Card.

The Ion Neutralizer is used to stop enemy vehicles in their paths. It can also be used to destroy droids and turrets.

The Ion Neutralizer is a variant of the Disruptor Rifle. If the Ion Neutralizer is fired on infantry, it will have no effect.

Once fired, the disruptor holds Vehicles in place for a few seconds, as well as deal some damage. Once the time is up, the vehicles regain movement.

Unlike the Disruptor Rifle, the Ion Neutralizer is not a power up, making it the only star card to be a variant of another weapon.

Tips[]

You can use the Ion Neutralizer to thwart a strafe run. Simply fire the Ion Neutralizer at a starfighter that is trying to attempt a strafe run on you and that fighter will be disabled for a few seconds. The player in the fighter has nothing to do about it and will come crashing to their demise. However, you will not be credited with that kill.
