Explosive Sentry is a Ability Card for the Heavy class in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II that can be unlocked for 1 Skill Point starting when the Heavy class has been leveled up to Level 30.
Overview[]
Although it is described as being impossible to move while this ability is activated, it is still possible to slightly reposition oneself—achieved by firing once, moving slightly, and repeating. Doing this reduces the risk of being eliminated with a headshot.
Additionally, this weapon does have splash damage, allowing the player to damage enemies who are hiding behind cover. This is especially helpful in flushing out enemies or reaching those who are hiding around corners.
