Desert Extermination is the first, of nine, campaign missions set in the Galactic Civil War in Pandemic Studios' Star Wars: Battlefront. It is set on the Tatooine map, Dune Sea.

A rebel cell and Tatooine's sand people are hindering our search for the missing droids.
- Wipe the Dune Sea clean of Rebels and Tusken Raiders
- Beware of the Sarlacc Pit!
Strategy[]
Tatooine Dune Sea
Since the Dark Trooper is not yet playable, play as a Stormtrooper and focus on capturing the Homestead Command Post. This will provide a central spawn point to press the attack on the Rebels and native Tusken Raiders. Since Command Posts are very spread apart on this map, simply trying to deplete the enemies' Reinforcement count after capturing the Homestead is a viable option for this mission.
