General Kenobi is an Epic appearance for Obi-Wan Kenobi in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II.^[1] It costs 40,000 credits or 1,000 crystals to unlock. It was originally slated for a release in January 2019,^[2] but it was pushed forward to December 12, 2018.^[3]^[4]

Overview

The General Kenobi skin is based on Obi-Wan Kenobi's armored appearance throughout the earlier seasons of the animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. As a Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi held the rank of Jedi General during the Clone Wars, and, during the earlier years of the war, wore extra armor over his traditional Jedi garments. The name is also a reference to Princess Leia's message to Obi-Wan Kenobi in the film A New Hope, where she first addresses him as "General Kenobi."

Trivia

This skin was first accidentally shown in a YouTube video published by one of the "Game Changers"—players sponsored by EA who are given early access to upcoming content—as he was capturing early gameplay footage of the Battle of Geonosis Update prior to its release.
