The Geonosian Starfighter is an extremely fast starfighter equipped with a single rapid-fire laser cannon mounted at the front. It fires purple bolts which cause much damage to enemy infantry, and is decent against vehicles. They can only be found on Geonosis: Spire in a hangar near the Spire Command Post. Although it is outmatched by the LAAT/i Gunships that the Republic uses on that map, it can strategically use its impressive speed to hit and run.

Trivia[]
- In the Star Wars Galaxy, these crafts are very accurate, due to the micro-tractor beam projector on the "beak" of the craft, forcing the blaster bolt through the gap between the field, thus, making the shot very accurate.
- Also, unlike in the game, only Geonosians are able to fly them because the instruments are based on scent, which is given by the scented mask, due to the Geonosian's superior olfactory sense and weak eyesight.
- In the PS2 port of Star Wars: Battlefront, the laser cannon does high damage, and can be used to take down vehicles quickly.
- In the PC port of Star Wars: Battlefront, the laser cannon generally has two or three times the damage as a laser turret (seen in other maps), making it very weak and sometimes taking more than one direct shot to an infantry to kill them.
