Geonosis
Description:A Desert World in the Outer Rim not far from Tatooine.Home to the insectiod race of the Geonosians and the Manufactoring place of the CIS and the Intergalactic Banking Clan.The First World where the Clone Wars started.
The Geonosis: Spire level, like Hoth, has plenty of vehicle action. It also has the most command posts in the game-9 in all. It also has the Lrik Cannon, a turret that shoots weak sonic blasts. It is also home to the Geonosian species which carry Sonic Blasters that do minimal damage. The Vehicles located here are the Spider Walker, Hailfire Droid and the AT-TE.
Battlefront II changed the entire Battlefront battlefield, as you cannot use gunships, or reach the spire where the CIS leaders hide. Off of the spire is a hanger for the Geonosis ships. WARNING: You CANNOT land a gunship in that hanger. Also, players can get a chance to shoot down the Trade Federation ships behind the Spire. Command Posts include the Assembly area, the AT-TE, the Derilict, the West and East Bunkers, Techno Union Ships 1,2 and 3 and the key command post, the Spire.
