Hoth is the primary planet of the Hoth System in Star Wars Battlefront, located in the Outer Rim Territories, and is home to only the Wampa and Tauntaun species. The Battle of Hoth took place on this planet, where the Empire used AT-AT's to devastating effect.
Hoth is an ice planet that contains small pockets of life, most if not all of these creatures are not sentient. The days on Hoth are extremely cold and sometimes blinding to the naked eye. The nights are even colder and will most likely kill a humanoid if they do not have sufficient equipment.
Hoth was the home of Echo Base which was a fortification managed by the Rebel Alliance.
Hoth was one of the 3 primary planets of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
