The Hoth Defense Turret is a white, cylindrical turret that was seen during the Battle of Hoth in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back as part of the Battle of Hoth. In the game, It fires rapid red laser bursts. These lethal energy bolts are much more effective towards the enemy infantry than against vehicles such as the AT-AT and the AT-ST.
