The LR1K Cannon, also known as the Sonic Disruptor Cannon and in Star Wars: Battlefront as the Geonosian Turret, is a large brown turret that uses similar projectiles to that of the Geonosian's Sonic Blaster and the Imperial Officer's Sonic Pistol.
Overview
It is not very useful, because its sonic waves hardly do anything to vehicles. If you fire it at infantry with a direct hit, it will send them tumbling back around 1 metre, but it is pretty much pointless in a battle. It is unique, however, in the fact that when destroyed, it will automatically repair itself without an Engineer.
Performance
Battlefront 1
Geonosian Turrets are only seen on one map, Geonosis: Spire. Exactly ten total are set in decent spots, in a circle surrounding the Spire. These extremely weak turrets are useless against vehicles and take 10-14 shots to kill just one enemy trooper. The accuracy is decent due to its wide view and tight crosshairs. The turret's range is very poor, only hitting targets within pistol range.
Battlefront 2
The LR1K Cannon, as it's called in Battlefront 2, is only seen in three spread out areas on Geonosis: Dust Plains. Compared to its Battlefront 1 counterpart, the LR1K Cannon is much more useful on the battlefield. It's damage has increased immensely, taking only 2 shots to kill enemy infantry. This cannon causes moderate damage against AT-TEs, and requires a bit of time to take them down. The LR1K's accuracy is very good with its small crosshairs and clear view. The range of the LR1K is much improved, especially compared to the Battlefront 1 version. Enemy troopers can be killed from a long distance, but are difficult to kill when moving.

Trivia
- In Star Wars canon, this cannon is a deadly weapon capable to explode one's eardrum, thus instant kill.
Notice!
This turret is not to be confused with the Geonosis Turret, a mod turret of a similar name.
