The lightsaber is a melee weapon in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II. Lightsabers are formidable and elegant weapons that emit a plasma blade from a metal hilt through the power of a kyber crystal inside the metal casing. Lightsabers deal high damage and can deflect enemy blaster fire. Lightsabers are wielded exclusively by some heroes.
