Hope you're well amidst the current pandemic (and the wait for the Battle on Scarif update lol). Just wanted to drop by and let you know that I updated the formatting for the Template:Reddit reference so you can now link to Reddit threads. I wanted to let you know specifically because in the instance that I saw you use it (which was on the Battle on Scarif Update page), you used it to link to a Reddit thread when the reference template was still made to only link to Reddit comments. So the formatting was kind of awkward. But now that shouldn't be a problem. I added the new instructions on how to link to a Reddit thread on the template page itself. It's nothing too new, it resembles linking to a thread on the EA forum with Template:BFF. Anyway, all the best!
I've renamed the "idea" pages accordingly. I don't think A Clone Apart and Machnima are fanon the same way the idea pages are fanon. Those are relatively known products/series, so I think it is okay if those stay as main space pages.
I found some categories that should maybe be deleted, not completely sure. Since I can't figure out how to make the links appear in Message Wall (they disappear in preview), uh... I'll give the names. CIS Heroes and CIS Villains.
Edit: There's also the Fun Fact category. It's not exactly dead, but I don't know if it should be on the wiki.
They disappear because when you type out the category [[Category:CIS Heroes]], the source editor interprets this as you wanting to add the page to that category. You can prevent the link from disappearing (therefore adding the page to that category) by putting a colon in front, like so: [[:Category:CIS Heroes]].
Yeah. I usually go quiet for a few months then have a few months of frequent editing.
I was confused about categories for Message Walls because I normally don't have to refer to categories in Message Walls.
I said category a lot there.
Edit: Now I have to go check up on the wikis I'm an admin on lol
Haha, I feel you on that. I just got out of class - Wednesdays are the days I'm done with classes early in the morning, so I have all day pretty much.
Yep, Instant Action is exactly as it sounds. It's basically just offline Capital Supremacy (without the boarding capital ships phase), or, in other words, Conquest. There are a few modifiers - not too many, but the devs have repeatedly commented they're looking to add more in the near future. The modifiers I can remember off the top of my head are match length, Battle Point accumulation rate (so how quickly you earn BPs), and turning on/off enemy hero AI, but there are a few others as well. Currently only Clone Wars stuff. Oh, and AI difficulty too of course.
The clone commando is awesome and I like the blaster, it has a good rate of fire and the clone commando is my new favorite unit to use in the game. I played the old Star Wars: Battlefront games in 2004 and in 2005 by the way.
Hey, I just wanted to follow up here real quick. I read over the proposals on the wiki Discord; my lack of response isn't neglect, I just generally agreed with your responses and the discussion. Just wanted to make that clear. Good to see them being implemented!
I also wanted to inform you that these next couple of months I'm going to be entering a busy period in my life so I'm going to be a bit inactive, but I'll still be around and will pop in when I can. :)
Hey, thanks for the message. I was wondering when you would reply on the Discord, now I understand. Glad you agreed with the proposals, just wish you would've said hi to TEO! And I see. I've always appreciated your edits Reddy, so I will be sad to see them being less frequent. I hope you don't get too stressed out with all the business irl, and I want you to know that we'll always be here if you want to take a break from it all or just want to talk. I wish you the best of luck and success in your irl efforts and look forward to seeing you pop in. From your friend, Lamosq :)
