Description

The peaceful world of Naboo is the homeworld of Padme, Jar Jar Binks, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Naboo has Plains, Forest and Oceans and is also the homeworld to both the Human and the underwater Gungan race. This Map features the Capital city of Naboo where the Trade Federation took over in 32 BBY. Theed also contains the Theed Palace where Queen Amidala once lived.

The Peaceful world of Naboo

Naboo is the first planet visited in the Star Wars story. It is the planet very similar to Earth that is seen on all throughout star wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and appearing as well in star wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It is the home of Anakin Skywalker's future wife Padme (and her subjects, including the Royal Naboo) as well as the amphibious-people, the Gungans.

Naboo is the planet on which the Trade Federation has a blockade, forcing Queen Amidala (Padme) to seek the help of the "wonderful" Senator Palpatine. Near the end of star wars Episode I, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan take on the formidable Darth Maul. Qui-Gon is killed, but Obi-Wan manages to kill Maul, and the Trade Federation's droid army is shut down. Since what we see most in the films is generic cityscape, forest, underwater, or inside a palace, there are no easily recognizable features of this map. The many buildings and winding streets make for a lot of close combat, even with the addition of tanks. The inside of the palace, probably seen the most, is never seen, although you can acend some stairs to sniping balconies. The maps of I and II are almost the same, other than switching from day (Battlefront) to night (Battlefront II)
