The primary attack of a unit is the main weapon it uses. For regular infantry, this is usually the gun by which it is identified. For a hero, it is usually a lightsaber or powerful blaster. The primary attack is used by left-clicking the mouse for the PC and hitting the right trigger on the controller for the console games.
