- "Joined by Shriv, and her daughter Zay, Iden follows a lead to Athulla in search of her missing husband."
- — In-game description
Project: Resurrection is the first campaign mission in the Resurrection DLC of DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. It was added in the 1.0 Patch and released in Week 2 of The Last Jedi Season. The DLC continues Iden Versio and Inferno Squad's story, resuming from the last campaign mission, Discoveries.
A short recap of Discoveries will be played before this mission, which can be skipped at will.
At Athulla, Iden and Zay reunite with Shriv on the Corvus, who tells them there are rumors from General Leia about the First Order kidnapping children. Just then, a signal from an Athullan is jammed, attributed to nearby Jinata Security ships. Iden, accompanied by Zay, purge Athullan airspace of the intruders, and halt the ringleader of the smuggling, Leema Kai, in his tracks before he is able to escape. (Later, Zay told the J-Sec ships the Corvus had a lot of firepower, enough to decimate the ships. The intruders surrendered.)
- Destroy Enemy Fighters
- Destroy Transports
- Destroy the Opportunity's Engines
- Eliminate Lemma KaI
Take control of Iden in her X-wing, which has the usual Droid Repair, but a brand-new ability, Ion Pulse. Ion Pulse works like Disruption, but for ships. Ion Pulse is best used when ships and bombs are nearby, and you need to neutralize them. Timing is key! (A prompt will appear later when the ringleader of Resurrection decides to send some seismic charges your way.)
Like the other space-oriented portions of the campaign, take out all enemies, as always.
Leema Kai boasts ordinance that will wipe out your ship if you're not quick on the draw to activate your Ion Pulse. If your Ion Pulse is on cooldown, just speed away as fast as possible. If you get tagged anyway, a quick repair will get you healthy enough to face him. When you finally defeat him, "Oh, come on!" shouts Kai, and he is gone. After Iden talks to Shriv about Leema the next cutscene will start.
