- "The Rebel Rocket-Jumper is an effective opponent against vehicles. Her JETPACK allows for unpredictable strikes from mid-air."
- — In-game description
The Rebel Rocket-Jumper is the Aerial Reinforcement unit for the Rebel Alliance in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. They replaced the Ishi Tib Jetpack Soldier from Star Wars Battlefront.
Overview
Like all Aerial troopers, the Rebel Rocket-Jumper is equipped with a jetpack that can propel her forward and upwards and be used for some flight. The Rebel Rocket-Jumper is also equipped with a precise rocket launcher. The Rebel Rocket-Jumper wields the three-burst A280 Blaster Rifle with the Scope Mod.
The Rebel Rocket-Jumper's A280 is more powerful than the Assault's version, and is capable of taking out even a Heavy in one burst at close range, provided that all three shots hit the head. Her weapon is quite formidable at close range, and the scope mod allows her to engage enemies at a distance and perform well, with the recoil of the weapon helping with landing headshots as it naturally kicks the weapon up as it is fired. Her powerful A280 combined with her jetpack also allows her to flank enemies and quickly take them out, as well as deal respectable damage to enemy vehicles as well with it and her Rocket Launcher.
While the Rebel Rocket-Jumper has strong firepower at her disposal, she has considerably low health for a Reinforcement, matching up with the Heavy with only two hundred health before Star Cards are applied. As a result she cannot take much punishment, and must resort to her mobility and cover in order to stay in the fight. If faced with unfavorable odds, she can use two of her abilities, Jetpack Boost and Jetpack Dash, in order to make a quick escape but can also depend on her dodge in order to quickly build space between an enemy or to close the distance with them.
