The Royal Guard, also known as the Imperial Royal Guard, the Red Guard, or just simply the Emperor's Royal Guard, are NPC units that appear in Star Wars: Battlefront: Elite Squadron in the game's campaign. In the game, these NPCs are equipped with either a Z-6 Chaingun or a ARC Caster rifle to combat the player. Aside from appearing in Elite Squadron, Royal Guards have appeared in numerous mods for Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars: Battlefront II.
