Scarif Beach is a land map set on Scarif featured in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II. In Battlefront, it was added as part of the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif expansion pack. In Battlefront II, a map with a similar name was added in the Battle on Scarif Update on April 29, 2020.
Star Wars Battlefront II
Overview
Despite being named after a Scarif map from the 2015 game, Scarif Beach in Star Wars Battlefront II is more similar to the Landing Pad 13 map from that game with some notable differences, such as being larger with several islets not present in the original version. Various map objects such as Imperial cargo shuttles have also been moved around. This map does have also three daytime lightnings: Midday, sunset and stormy weather.
Modes
Scarif Beach can be played in the following modes:
Star Wars Battlefront
Overview
Scarif Beach is covered with more sand and water than the other two Scarif land maps, Scarif Jungle and Landing Pad 13, but still has its fair share of Imperial infrastructure. Distinguishing features of this map include:
- A large Imperial bunker area, near the coast, lined with cargo crates
- A docking area for TIE Strikers that has a walkway leading to an overlook of one of the Imperial cargo shuttles
- A small river that cuts through the middle of the map
- A large area of shallow water near one side of the map that has a small, isolated island
Modes
Scarif Beach can be played in the following modes (Rogue One: Scarif expansion pack playlist only):
Trivia
- Like Scarif Jungle and Landing Pad 13, Imperial AT-AT's move significantly slower on this map to accommodate Walker Assault in such a small area.
- In addition, there are only two Y-Wing phases in Walker Assault, as opposed to three.
