The Scatter Gun is a star card introduced in Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim. It is a shotgun-like weapon that can penetrate shields much like the Cycler Rifle. It is currently the only shotgun Star Card present in the game.

This weapon never made an appearance in the original trilogy, much like the other Star Cards from the DLC.

Upon firing, the scatter gun will fire 3 bolts of solid material twice, before it's put away and players must wait 30 seconds (25 if the star card is upgraded) to reuse the star card.
