The X-Wing is a Rebel Alliance starfighter that can be piloted in Star Wars: Battlefront.
Information
The X-Wing is a capable, well-rounded space and planetary fighter that and is the primary combat starfighter of the Rebel Alliance. The ship is equipped with four powerful front-mounted blaster cannons as well as two Proton Torpedo launchers. The wings can open and close to designate combat formation. The X-Wing is the Alliance counter-part to the TIE Fighter Players can pilot X-wings in the Fighter Squadron, Supremacy, and Walker Assault modes. The X-wings are collectively under the call sign Red Squadron.
Trivia
- Red Squadron was the call sign of the X-wing squadron during the offensive against the first Death Star; with Luke Skywalker as Red 5 and Wedge Antillies as Red 2.
- This is currently one of the only three air vehicles available to the Rebel Alliance.
