Temple Security Force (TSF)

The Temple Security Force was a Jedi rank for non-force sensitives. Their mission was to protect the Temple from any threats. The Security Force contained three other military divisions named: The Temple Guard, Temple Scout, and the Temple Vanguard. They fought during Operation: Knightfall against Anakin and his troops. They were completely defeated during this conflict.

This unit is only found in the Operation: Knightfall Campaign Mission. The Temple Security Guard carries a A280 Blaster Rifle and his job is to maintain security at the Jedi Temple when the Jedi are deployed around the galaxy. They are not Force-sensitive.

Temple Vanguard

For some reason this unit is found on the map, but there is no vehicles for him to destroy so they just use blaster pistols and shoot with there missile launchers at close formations of enemy soldiers. However they are not to be trifled with. They are found close to the Temple Guard. They are carrying Missile Launchers, watch out for them.

The Temple scout is a unit in the Temple Security Force, it is a mix of a pilot and engineer unit. Their job is to maintain security at the Jedi Temple when the Jedi are deployed around the galaxy. They are not Force-sensitive.

Strategies in defeating the TSF

• Shotguns of the clone engineer class are very effective against them.
• Instead of fighting them on every objective, you could just go past them and let the AI clone troopers deal with them, since they tend not to try to counter your objectives, but mainly just kill you.

Trivia

• The Temple Security Trooper was the infantry. They were not Force-sensitive, but they were loyal to the Jedi and the Jedi alone. They dealt with the day-to-day security issues that went on in the temple. They played a key part in Operation: Knightfall. They fought to the end, but were unable to repel the 501st Legion, possibly due to the sheer numbers and the clone unmatched focus.
• These Temple Security were meant to disable any vehicle that was not authorised to be present at the Temple. Like the Trooper, they were unable to protect the Jedi.
• The Temple Guard is the enemy force in the original Battlefront campaign.
• In Canon, temple defenders were actually masked sentries whose lives were devoted to defending the temple. They wielded short, double bladed, yellow lightsabers.
