The Thermal Imploder is a Power Up in Star Wars Battlefront (2015). A modified imploder can be used by Greedo once his confidence level is at maximum.
Description
The Thermal Imploder is a timed grenade that compresses and heats the surrounding atmosphere, creating a vacuum that produces a violent implosion within a massive radius about three seconds after it is thrown.
The Thermal Imploder is the only grenade that's a Power Up.
This Power Up is an effective counter to most Heroes, as it can take most of their health away with one effective explosion.
Players should use this for terms of large groups of enemies, as it will not only give a giant killscore, but it will also be a wise move strategically.
A Thermal Imploder is also a good choice of armament for taking down an Imperial AT-ST, as an explosion which occurs straight on will either take away up to 50 health, or destroy it completely.
Tips
A thermal imploder can be used in many situations, but it is best used to clear out small rooms and door ways. It can also be used to clear out the area directly surrounding an objective. To survive a thermal imploder tossed towards you, simply do a combat roll away from it. Just to be on the safe side, continue strafing away from the grenade until it has detonated.

Greedo's Thermal Imploder is like a regular Thermal Imploder, with the exception of a different sound effect and the explosion having a more reddish glow to it.
