"Inside the secret cloning facilities on Kamino, cadets sparred against training droids in simulated battle scenarios."
— In-game description

Training is a set of appearances for the Separatists's Assault, Heavy, Officer, and Specialist classes, and the Commando Droid and Droideka, in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II. Each skin costs 20,000 Credits or 500 Crystals separately, but the Training Appearance Bundle unlocks all 4 trooper classes' skins for 1000 Crystals, and the Commando Droid Appearance Bundle unlocks the Training skin, as well as the Captain, Citadel, and Diplomat skins for the Commando Droid for 825 Crystals. The Training appearances were released on August 28, 2019 as part of the Roger Roger Update,[1] and the Commando Droid and Droideka's appearances were released on December 5, 2019 as part of the Celebration Update.

Overview[]

These skins are based on the appearance of B1 battle droids, commando droids and droidekas that were used in secret simulations to train the clone troopers of the Galactic Republic on Kamino. To make them distinct from actual Separatist battle droids, training battle droids had a lighter grey paint job and unique markings.

Trivia[]

  • Training B1 battle droids used in battle simulations to train clone trooper cadets can be seen in the first episode of the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Clone Cadets.
