The Droid Tri-Fighter is the Interceptor class for the Separatists in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II.
Overview
The Droid Tri-Fighter excels at hunting down and engaging other starfighters. As an interceptor, it makes use of its impressive speed and maneuverability in order to zip around in a fight and to shake off pursuers.
The Afterburner ability grants a speed boost to the Tri-Fighter, and can be used in order to break missile locks and to shake pursuers.
Using the Heavy Laser activates the central cannon and adds to its already impressive damage potential, shredding through starfighters with ease.
The Heat Sink ability allows the Tri-Fighter to keep firing without having its weapons overheat, and can be used in order to keep the pressure on an opponent and to tear through anything in its path. Using it with the Heavy Laser ability results in a high damage output that can take down even the most resilient starfighters, and can induce high damage to objectives and ground targets.
