A Vulture Droid, also referred to as the Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I, is a Confederacy of Independent Systems starfighter added in Star Wars Battlefront II and is the Assault class for the Separatists. It was used by the Trade Federation with their brown colors and the CIS with blue and grey colors during the Clone Wars as seen during the Starfighter Assault trailer. This starfighter is seen in the battle of Naboo, Kamino and Ryloth.
Overview
It is fighter controlled by a droid brain capable of extreme maneuvers that a organic pilot couldn't and is armed with twin blaster cannons, 2 energy torpedo launchers and buzz droid missile launchers.
Effective both in aerial combat and bombardments, the adaptable Vulture Droid is a very useful vehicle in virtually all situations. They are usually carried by the CIS's Providence-class Dreadnoughts or Lucrehulk-class Battleships during the Clone Wars.
