Yavin IV, or Yavin 4, is the fourth moon above the gas giant planet of Yavin. It was the site of an ancient Sith Temple in use during the Great Sith War, and the housing of the Massasi Temples. Hundreds of years later it was the location of the Rebel's secret base. Featuring the Rebel Base itself, and many ruins. Most of the moon is covered in jungle, including much of the ruins.
Maps
This map is the Yavin 4 in the movies, and is found in Battlefront II as well. It features the thin towers, the temple hanger, and the control area.
One of the other temples found on Yavin 4. Best known for the epic battle between Anakin Skywalker and Asajj Ventress in the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series.
The Space Yavin map takes place at the Blockade of Yavin, that took place right after the Battle of Yavin. The Galactic Empire blockaded the planet, and prevented Rebel Alliance Transports from leaving the system.
